My experience here has been very good!
And both times I went with my family, we got a complimentary plate of something. (And it was good!)
ATMOSPHERE:
The restaurant interior is not fancy but it sure is classic Japanese looking. c:
Initially we were seated at a booth in the corner, it was a good place for some introverted people!
SERVICE: A bit strange because my mother-in-law and husband ordered sake and I asked for a coke but I got ID'd? At the same time, I think the waitress knew my husband and my mother-in-law enough to know they were over 21, so maybe that's why.
Some of the food came before the sake, and I think it would've been good to have it come first so that you can relax for about 5 minutes? That being said, who could complain about getting food quickly? lol
Later when we moved to the bar, it was especially nice. The waittress recommended a spicy (dragon or something?) roll to us and it was quite nice. The chef is very friendly too even though he's a little shy.

FOOD:
I have to say that hands down, the ocean roll was my favorite. The crab meat goes perfectly in it!! Would highly recommend that one.
The Philadelphia roll (with salmon and cream cheese) we got was also pretty good.
My husband got a miso soup that was nice and salty. My experience with miso has been that it was more watery and had less flavor to it--but this was pretty good.
Would definitely go here again. -

AWFUL SERVICE - don't waste your time... true they have a bacon roll but it should not take 2 hours for sushi!

I am giving one star when it should be zero stars aweful food....salad was watery sushi was deep fried from a grease pit that hasn't been cleaned in 6 months avoid this place I am going to grow throw up I feel sick

Chilliwack has some excellent Sushi restaurants but this is not one of them! Weird selections in the bento lunch boxes, not everyone wants veggie rolls. Everything on our bento lunch boxes was deep fried. Gross! Gave us some strange deep fried round things that were just gross and fishy...maybe eel, I'm not sure what it was? Soggy food, dead salad, don't bother going here.

Smell of cleaning chemical upon entering and was not pleasant. Place looked clean though. Waitress was polite but served warm green tea. Food was ok. Had to go to the front counter and ask for food to get packed and the bill. We were left unattended for a long time and we wanted to leave. I can now say I've tried it once.
